I think it's about a guy who lost his friend/girlfriend/whatever, and the "Ghost" (memory) of her is always there. He misses her so much he thinks about suicide. Kinda weird, sorry. I never, said I'd lie and wait forever If I did we'd be together now -This is one of the thinks that made me think about suicide. He wants to be with her.- I can't always just forget her But she could try -he blames her for dying, and for the 'ghost'. People usually do that. I did when my grandfather died- At the end of the world Or the last thing I see -Her death was his personal end of the world. And it was the last thing he saw, cause after her death he couldn't think about a thing. Damn, I'll use this as an example. Remember when Edward leaves Bella, and she can't even remember when Lauren changed her haircut? Yeah. Like this.- You are Never coming home Never coming home -He knows the ghost is just a ghost. He'll never be with her again.- Could I? Should I? -He's thinking about killing himself. Clearly, it's about suicide. First time I heard it, I thought it was about a couple, then the guy just leaves the girl and she says "I need and ending. So why can't you stay just long enough to explain?". But in the second time I realized it won't fit. The best in RIOT!, so calm and meaningful. And when it rains on this side of town -The rain could be a bad thing. Like, rain makes me happy, but it can be interpreted as a sad time.- It touches everything -The suicide touches everyone that know the person.- Just say it again and mean it We don't miss a thing -I really don't know about this line, sorry.- You made yourself a bed at the bottom of the blackest hole (Blackest hole) -He (let's think it's a guy) was sure that his life was sad and empty, so he didn't looked at all the good things in his life: his friends, his family, his religion. So he drowned in the depression.- And convinced yourself that it's not the reason You don't see the sun anymore -He was convinced he wasn't blind, that his life was useless. The sun (happiness) wasn't there.- And oh, oh, how could you do it? I think it's about Edward's feelings. This song is so damn awesome. Love when Hayles says "You got it, you got it, some kind of magic".
