I don’t think this is about an actual disaster but a disastrous relationship. It's metaphor. It' about his relationship and relationships in general. How they can be ultimately bad and destructive and selfish. The disaster is metaphor for the relationship ending badly and that after a bad realationship you really only have youreself left to rebuild your broken heart after the one you trusted and loved and still loved did you so wrong. At least that's my opinion...but maybe I'm just seeing that because I can relate to that, lol. |
