Soundgarden – Superunknown Lyrics 15 years ago
I agree with most of the earlier comments about the superunknown being life/the universe/perspective.

Why is it that in almost EVERY song there are always those people adamantly thinking it's a reference to drugs???? Open your minds a little, holy shit! Maybe some songs are obviously about drugs, but it's like you pull drug usage from out of your asses sometimes. I'm against the "War on Drugs" because it's all a heaping pile of ignorance and lies. I'm for responsible recreational drug usage, but life and songs are more than just drugs...

And "Supah Dude", this song is in every way contradicting what you think it's about, by your last comment: "If you don't agree with me, you're wrong." Everything is about perspective, there is no objective right or wrong.

Mudvayne – Dull Boy (Mudvayne's Myspace version) Lyrics 15 years ago
I like the previous comment left by "The Hallowed" about the Karma thing. It makes sense.

I think Chad is talking about EVERYONE in the chorus. To me it kind of has similar concepts of both "Just"(Wanting a break from it all) and "Not Falling" (Not having to choose/No sympathy for either side of any duality).

To critics/media/enemies (I'm not your scapegoat), his fans (I'm not your God)/(I'm not your martyr), (I'd leave you all) basically sums it up.

Tool – Swamp Song Lyrics 15 years ago
When I first heard this song it reminded me of Christian extremists. They push their views and ways on everyone around them and want everyone to live by their standards. Dismissing scientific/medical facts/help "cause you're a dumb and belligerent fucker" Poking their noses in and trying to get their hands on personal matters (Abortion clinics, euthanasia, gay marriage, etc.) "no one even invited you in". Intolerant and inconsiderate to other beliefs and religions "Why don't you watch where you're stumbling?" And getting caught up in their own arrogance, ego, and self-righteousness "This bog is thick and easy to get lost in."
