I feel like this song is about a relationship that has been dragging on for a while. Where one acts somewhat "crazy" about the other. He's saying "one more day" as in "give me a chance, please just one more day, i'll change." but he never does. "I'd stay if I ever could, stay if I ever could And pick up your pieces babe, Cause there's never a perfect day" He "picks up her pieces" as in trying to make her happy and fix the relationship. But "there's never a perfect day" something always goes wrong. "I just lost my mind, but I still got you" He may be "crazy" but as long as he has her it's still okay. |
