This song is about the patient in Silence of the Lambs who throws his semen at Clarice. The first part of the song is Patton singing about what psychosis the guy has ... the second part is the redemption he feels for his crime and the 'cruel words' from his tormentor (Hannibal Lecter) that eventually lead to his suicide (the cathedral choir at the end of the song). It's just Patton taking that particular character, fleshing him out and writing a song about him. |
