haha that's where the genius that is Rogue Wave comes in. Their songs are just so amazing even if you don't understand the lyrics at all. Most of them are very vague and can be interpreted many different ways so that it enhances intelligent thought and gives you something to think about. I love what they do, it's just amazing =] |

To me, this song is talking about the "perma"nant light of God that is "turned on" when you are "reborn" and you "say goodnight" to reform. Also "it is wrong to turn turn yourself off tonight when you're still young" could mean that we really need to turn ourselves on to the love that is waiting for us in God.
That's what it means to me personally and it makes sense.... |
