The whole album can be interpreted as the story of Kid A, the 1st human clone. If so, this is his "birth" because they have well, everything in its right place. The words are gibberish as any baby's 1st words are, thus all the esp. He woke up sucking on a lemon apparently, you can interpret that in many ways. Two colors in his head, possibly realizing he is a clone, not an original human, not believing the truth ("what was that you tried to say?"). Great song btw. |

| Radiohead – Anyone Can Play Guitar Lyrics

This was written as Thom's response to a The Doors documentary. He thought Jim Morrison to be a hypocrite thus the sarcastic line "Grow my hair/Grow my hair I am Jim Morrison" ... the whole song is sarcastic saying that if you play guitar you are no longer a nobody. Obviously not ... Decent song in all pretty poppy but one of the best off Pablo Honey along with You. |
