This is probably his best song in the Owl City project...this song and The Technicolor Phase were such beautiful works of art...since these last few years his stuff has become too commercial I'm just not feeling it anymore...same with Lights, it's not because they've become more mainstream that killed it but as a musician I REALLY can't feel the creativity in their stuff anymore...it's just normal pop... |

Can't exactly say what it means. But I do know that it is definitely not about a love one.....he is waiting for 'something' to happen by the sea whether it be life or death etc. Regardless, it is stated in the song that he is ready for whatever. Beautiful piece. |

I like alot of different music. Each music has it's own underlying message, as well as sound. Led Zeppelin plays long complicated pieces and is an older, original form of "metal" music. Screeching Weasel is one of the early punk rock bands, shortly after the Sex Pistols before them. Punk is straight out to the point music reflecting youth angst which I can relate to more, so Screeching Weasel is more my thing personally. I don't mind Led Zeppelin but maybe it's more my uncle's time lol it's good and classic but I like punk rock. |

This song has an incredible meaning.
It is basically about the singer and his partner/friend doing what they can and how they yearn for a better life in a decent place.
The car is a symbol in my opinion, one can clearly feel it when he says "fast", "fly away" and "leave tonight". To escape their poor lives.
When he says "i know things will get better" you can kind of feel the hope that's there, life will get better one day and they'll be able to get away to a decent lifestyle. |
