Immortal Technique – Bin Laden Lyrics 15 years ago
He's saying Bush actually blew up the towers just listen to his song "Cause of Death" he talks about it and evidence and the Illuminati and such. By the way, He doesn't believe Bush himself did it, no one does! Bush is a puppet to much eviler men like Dick Chainey. Dick Chainey is an evil man and macpherso you'd be suprised how evil people can be. He's one of the heads of Halliburton who are one of the most evil corporations in the world and responsible for the installation of the cap that blewout causing the oil spill

Immortal Technique – Dance With The Devil Lyrics 15 years ago
Immortal Techinque is amazing. He's one of the few rappers that really tells it how it is. He's not all about sex, money, and drugs. He's a call out for action against the racisim and hate implanted into our society. Listen to more of his stuff and he'll take you deeper and show you what's really goin on in the country. He knows cause he's been there and he's teaching all of us. He is without a doubt one of the greatest lyricists I hav ever heard.

Lovesick Radio – Don't Let Me Be Right Lyrics 15 years ago
This song is about a man talking to his friend who's a drug and alcohol addict. I think this vecause of the refrence to the needle on thecouch which is talking about injected drugs. Also when he talks about himbeing there when his friend got sober, he obviously tryed to help his friend stop his addiction and thought he had succeded, but his friend has returned to drugs. In the song he is pleading for his friend to change his ways so that he wouldn't be right about him saying he was going to die. Awsome song I'm a huge fan. More people should find and listen to this band my uncle helped produce them and they are really good.

Soundgarden – Spoonman Lyrics 15 years ago
This song is about the spoonman of Seattle. Um duh. That's who play the spoons in the middle part of the song. He used to play the spoons in Seattle during the grunge movement, he was a street musician. Awsome song, badass vocals and guitar part

Audioslave – Show Me How to Live Lyrics 15 years ago
I think this song represents a kind of Frankenstien scenario. Were the creation is really not supposedto be alive and is dumped into a world were it is hate."Built with stolen parts telephone in my heart" kind of clues in the idea that it really was a creation. I think there maybe be some religious refrence in the part "Nail in my hand" but that is probably just a metaphor. I think the message is to not play god and that giving life is not one of mans responsibilities.

Chris Cornell – Killing Birds Lyrics 15 years ago
I think it's true that killing birds is a metaphor for ideas that were pushed on cornell as a child. I think he saying that if you force ideas on someone you cannot count on the idea that they won't use them on you as well. How when you train someone to do something it is no longer a choice it's just second nature. "Well I'm just doin my job" shows that there is no feeling just doing what has been pushed on him. Great song, one of my favorite off the album

The Weeks – Buttons Lyrics 15 years ago
I think this is a song about a couple who's in liv and not sure if they are really dedicated or not. It sounds like he has a guy telling him to leave her but she's telling him to stay, but in the end he figures out that they really love each other and that's the sweetest thing. So it's kind of a sentemental love song. Great song I really like it

Nine Inch Nails – Head Like a Hole Lyrics 15 years ago
I think this song is about people who use religion to get money. "God moneys not looking for the cure god moneys not concerened about the sock among the pure, it's all about people lying about doing good things. "God money let's go dancing on the back of the bruised god moneys not one to chose. Enough said right there

Shinedown – Save Me Lyrics 15 years ago
This is definently a song about drugs. "I got a candle and I got a spoon." He's talking about heroine! It's all about the way drugs trap you and how it often seems there is no escape

Jeff Buckley – Eternal Life Lyrics 15 years ago
I think this song is about extremists who look for eternal life by suicide bombing or through war or whatever. "Did you really think this bloody road would pave the way for you," is a good example of this. Also the stuff about "were is the love in what your prophet has said" seems to suggest religious extremism. I think it also conveys a message of peace though. "All I want to do is love everyone," is a good example of this.

Audioslave – Set It Off Lyrics 15 years ago
Sorry to say but I think most of you are wrong. Cornell is not religious and would never write a song abou christ. MLK is a possibility because of his activism but I don't think that's really it. I think the songs more about the communist revolutionary Che Guevera who helped the Castro's rise to power in Cuba. The rest of the band being of rage against the machine had many strong opinions, and I've heard this is one of the subjects there opinions focus on. The part in the song "Suddenly a shot ripped into his heart" is referring to the fact that Che was executed by gunshot by a Bolivian soldier, mainly to make it look like he was not executed but killed in battle. The soldier was ordered to aim for the heart, hence the phrase in the lyrics. It also mentions his last words which though were "set this fucker off" they were encouraging revolution. Also in his book Guerilla Warfare he spoke about the spark required in a revolution. He is considered a martyr for he was fighting for what he believed in and was rejected for such. The U.S. dislike him and said he brought revolution at gunpoint, but they forget that is also how America gained it's freedom. The anti-government philosophy in rage against the machine also helped contribute to the picking of Guevera.
