| Radiohead – Karma Police Lyrics | 15 years ago |

Here's what I thought- This man had a problem with another guy. He was waiting for Karma to get him back for being like he is. Well, Karma never came. So, this man found himself to be the "Karma Police", and he was going to do what Karma should have. In an ironic twist, the man ends up being his own demise, trying to make someone else's come sooner- Karma. |

Now- This song is two songs in itself. You'll never see too much of an acoustic guitar and rap in the same song. They just don't fit. But, in this song, they somehow make it work. They make a perfect connection. And that's without any lyrics. Almost like two sides of one story. 2D's side being- "I want out of this hell-hole", Noodle's side being "That'd be nice, wouldn't it?". But this is one of those songs that can have hundreds of meanings. Here's one. |

I've listened to this quite a few times, among other Gorillaz songs, and I find that many of their songs have two meanings- One that makes a reference to a band member (Clint Eastwood for example), and a media issue. In this song, they do make both. The first being about Noodle's android, who shorts out for no apparant reason, and the second being about electricity in general- "Eletric is the love" "Overload" "When you know your heart is light" "(Juice)" "Thunder roll" "Heavy glow" "Love electricity" "Shockwave central" "Power on the motherboard" "Broadcast so raw and easy" |

I'll argue this one- It's "They do the bump" And, in between every 4th and 5th line (I think) is a "Polyester!" I honestly don't know, it just seems to fit better when I hear it. |
