I really love this song but I'm confused about one thing: The first line says that this is the greatest and best song in the world, right? But then later it says it's not, it's only a tribute. That makes no sense, unless over the course of the song, sometime while telling the story they have changed their opinion, maybe.
Not entirely sure what it's about.
The video clip is awesome, it always makes me laugh! However, the first time I saw it when I was little, I thought that the photobooth they were playing in was actually a real music recording studio, and ever since then I've always imagined bands playing music in tiny little rooms like that. Scarred for life. |

This song is so beautiful! I think I read somewhere that it was supposed to be included in the Twilight movie.
The meaning isn't too hard to decipher - basically about a guy who is saying he should have been there every step of the way and he is willing to sacrifice anything for love. |
