If you take out all the things that make you think he's talking about his ex- girlfriend or wife, this song makes me think of my relationship with my best friend. I would give my life for this person and I thought I loved being around them, but I just don't get the same from them. I thought I loved who I was around them, but really I feel like that last line in the song, "But I hate when I feel like this and I never hated you." I loved them like they were family... I do love them like my own family!!! But I hate how I feel after I talk to them. I don't understand why people can just walk all over me and I go back for more! "Should look through some old photos I adored you in every one of those." In all the fun pictures we took I look at my friend knowing they are my favorite person in the whole world, but they look at me like I don't belong there. |
