Exacto! that is what comes to my mind when I listen to this song. It makes a lot of sence for it to be divorce, when you parents divorce...you think to your self " I will not make the same mistakes that you did " and I belive that in the part where she sings... " And now I cry In the middle of the night, Over the same damn thing " is a very emotional part because...It makes you belive that after she was so afraid to make the same mistake and get hurt...she did make the same mistake. I adore this song, its one of my all time favorite songs. Lets put it this way; the song is about drugs sex and love! ITS PERFECT !! hahaha. I agree with the meanings everyone have given the song. Most of them are corect!. I can personally relate to this song, yes seriosly.
