To start, this song is beautiful. As a human, it is like a slap in the face that doesn't hurt at all. As a Christian, it hurts a lot. This what I usually think when listening to this song: The shadow seems to be guilt...and the wind seems to be our willingness to try and disguise our flaws and justify what we've done. We do what what we feel and when it doesn't feel right, we try and move on, but we carry it with us. There are things we just have to let go of and give to something else. This probably didn't help you at all. Keep in mind, I'm 19 and don't know crap yet. |
