I believe this song is about an ending of a relationship when things we lose is not a sacrifice or the lost of the relationship is not a sacrifice anymore. For me the "word" is Godbye it is a human sign when things go wrong when the scent of her lengers and temptation is strong It is in us, humans the disponibility to betrayl mostly when things are not going well in our relationship. Deceits and illusions are all around waiting to attack us, when we present ourselves vulnerable, the temptation wins. For some reason, the relantionship between this man and his wife is not going well, and he sees himself sorrounded by temptations from others some women Into the boundary of each married sweet deceit comes calling and negativity lands every man has a boundary, a line he can not cross, and he has to be strong otherwise there is a point he won't be strong enough to hold it and he ended up falling. The sweet deceits came to him together with the frustation of his relationship not going well, he betrayed his wife (negativity lands) cold cold heart hardened by you somethings look better baby just passing through as I said before, the relationship between him and wife was not going so well, and he thinks it is his wife's fault. Somehow she made his heart cold, maybe she wasn't giving him the love he wanted or he was desapointed at her, but still there are things good in their relationship but they just pass throught when is thinking with his cold heart in a pain. And these good things are weaker then the bad things so they don't help him in his fight against himself and the deceptions. And it is no sacrifice just a simple word, it is two hearts living in two separate worlds at all then with all his disapointement and anger at his wife, and his wife's pain for being betraided, it is no sacrifice for them to say Godbye, since their hearts are living in two separate worlds. It is no sacrifice for them to lose the ralationship. Mutual misunderstand after the facts sensitivity builds a prison in the final act we lose direction no stone unturned no tears no damn you and jealousy burns here I think he means that after all this is done, at the end they conclude it was all wrong, or not worth it. Their pain and frustation conducted them to unwise decisions. And when they start to think about it, to feel it, it evolves them in a prison of loneness, despair created by themselves and in despair, with no direction, they cursed eachother, they say all the bad word we say to eachother. So again it is no sacrifice to say godbye, to divorce, to fall apart. With each following it's path. |
