I think it's about preparing for a journey using a portable GPS devise. In the following, I image the narrator, in this case the singer, talking about how crazy she feels plotting out her course. Is six afraid of seven, �cause seven eight nine? I�m about to lose it a second time Staring at the wall, hour after hour Running up and down, over and over -This just sounds like general 'I'm feeling crazy' stuff. Now that she's prepared, she gets into how she feels using the thing, which also drives her a little crazy: It�s so tricky tricky, this little one too, Well, if it is a lunatic we�ll name it after you. Put it in your pocket and pick it up We�re here to entertain, show them what you got. -I image the 'were here to entertain, show them what you got, may have something to do with the extra features in these GPS devises. Six afraid of seven, �cause seven eight nine I�m afraid of losing the places I find If I was made equal, is this what I get: A bunch of stories to interpret? -Losing the places I fine: erasing the memory, or forgetting how to find saved routs, or afraid they were not saved correctly? -Last two lines: Having difficulty reading the instructions and understanding them? The rest of the song pretty much follows the same thought process. 'Sleeping in the palm of my hand', the devise on sleep mode. "You are the flower in glittering gold", despite how crazy it makes her it's still a great devise and she is glad to use. |
