I think this song is about government in more ways than one. One way deals with health care reform. If the bill is passed, America will basically have a socialist health care system. (which is really too bad considering that when people from other countries needed to get treated they were wiling to risk thier lives to come to America. Now, there won't be any reason for them to because we'll be just like the country they're leaving) The reform will basically give the government the power to decide whos life is valuable, and whos isn't. For example, say you're over the age of 65 and you have cancer. The government's not goning to make sure you get chemo, they're just goning to give you a pain killer considering since you're 65, you'll die soon any way. That's just one view, but i doubt it has to do with this song since health care reform is fairly current. The other way I thought it dealt with government is that they were saying the government is corrupt. That they will do everything they can in order to gain as much power over people as possible. They are willing to twist the truth around for thier own selfish purposes. That they want to shape and mold the rest of society to do and believe everything they say.
