Because the majority of the people in this world are stupid and/or ignorant, i.e. they'd rather listen to their mainstream rubbish, or they simply have not hard of Elliott Smith. That aside, I love this song. It's so beautifully sad, especially the last verse. It's a masterpiece of songwriting. |

I'm so shocked noone has commented on this song yet! I think the song is about how there will always be war and conflict no matter what happens. Not too sure though. Also, the soft synth in this is beautiful. :) |
