this is so true!! the first verse in particular, it happend to me aswel, atleast something alike, being in love with a girl who used to hang ot with us, until suddenly she returned to her ex, some A-hole who treated her badly, I guess I knew it al allong, but I wanted to 'believe the lies' |

your explination is f*cking epic, I agree completely. I think aswell that it is about loving someone, who left, or who is with another guy/girl. So i think the 'I wish I could be your evil in a closet' is to be her/his secret lover, or friend. To be with eachother without braking her'his heart by driving her/him appart with tha new live's partner |

I agree on this aswell (if you had've read above, I think its about how hard it is to get over a loved one, like a girl) because the way I got over my 'addiction' or 'obsesion' (that specific girl) was to eventualy meet an other girl I started liking, f*cked up thing about that: She seems to brake my heart aswell (she lied to a lot of people, me included, but something inside me wants to give her another chanse, but not sure wether* (I hope I spelled it correctly) to trust her anymore)

I don't think it is about drugs, I do however think it is about somekind of an adiction. Maybe meant as a metaphore. In my case this adiction is about beeing very much in love with a girl (beeing adicted to her, do to speak) and not fully getting over her. When I told her how I felt, and she rejected me, I tried to move on, and eventualy that succeeded. But she's still very special to me (not beeing able to get over the 'adiction') Anyway great song!!
P.s. I reconize myself with this whole love/not-getting-response-to-my-feelings thingin other In Flames songs, like Clayman, Scorn and Evil in a closet. That strange or what? |
