I agree with everyone else that this song is Awesome! But here is why... The sense of loss in the song, that so many of us feel, is referring to our detachment from God. It tells the story that so many of us have felt; We stray from a pure love, a love that is incomprehensible. The "warning sign" is that doubt, that it's too good to be true. And we take it for granted, "passing it by", letting it slip away. We all have that constant spiritual need for relationship with Him -"I miss You". But He is always there, wanting to take us back. In the song, as in life, we can crawl back into His arms. Jesus. That's what I feel. Any thoughts? |
