in my opinion, the song is about someone who really has feelings for another person, but is too unsure of himself or just afraid to fall in love, to even give it a shot. he wants to, but can't. my favorite off the album... really perfect. |

love this song. i always thought of it too sort of like elementary school, "everyone gets a star" for being good or doing whatever they're supposed to.. though it sounds a little sarcastic here. i think it probably is about a romantic interest too, although he sings more about himself & his own issues than her. & yeah, shouldn't it be "forever know", not "forever no"? doesn't make much sense... |
