I'm not really a big Miley Cyrus fan, but I absolutely love this song. It perfectly fits the "I wanted you to know how I feel about you/I'm so sorry for what I did/I know what I want now and it's you, but I'm too late because you've moved on" scenarios that are always in movies, books, tv shows, and in our own lives. The song is basically about realizing that someone in your life has exited and that you didn't get the chance to express something important, something that the other person didn't quite see before. So, Miley's trying to tell the person, wherever he is, that, no matter what happens, she hopes he's happy and that he finds whatever it is that he's looking for that he couldn't find when he was a part of her life. |
