I believe robland has made the most reasonable, thought-provoking interpretation thus far. Of course, if the band in fact has no idea what this song means, clearly no one else does. Personally, any recurring religious connections seem to be pure bunk to me, so that's all out as far as I'm concerned.
The lyrics are kind of like Nostradamus' vague so-called predictions/prophecies/whatever: They can and apparently do mean whatever in the world you want them to based on your own experiences, knowledge and beliefs. |

Considering the song's title was inspired by Frederick's of Hollywood's slogan, I've always kind of viewed this whole sequence as (unintentional... or is it?) product placement. Damn sexy pool orgy erotica product placement... ;) |
