Over analysis on this one. It was written for the film 'Highlander', Connor Macleod id immortal, Heather his woman isn't, he has to watch her grow old and die, and the song reflects the melancholy of his position. Clever beautiful song, but wholly commercial. |

She is a high cless call girl. Perhaps transgender. I wouldn't go along the route of it being a critique of a decadent lifestyle as 'empty' as some have suggested, it's more likely to be a celebration of it! after all this is Freddie! Perhaps the meanings become confused after crossing the atlantic? |
