this is an absolutely beautiful song :] I love it soooo much!! definately in my top rated songs along with Boulevard of broken dreams, macys day parade, and time of your life.. I think this songs a mix of him losing his father (thats kinda a duh one) and just losing people in general. i love the lines "like my fathers come to pass seven/twenty years has gone so fast" and "Here comes the rain again falling from the stars. drenched in my pain again, becoming who we are" just because theyre great lines and applied to my situation with losing my papaw :'[ It just happened so fast and i cried sooo much but it's helped me heal and ease the pain of losing him.. if anyone on here reads this and they listened to this song when they learned of losing a loved one, please rate this with a + cause i no theres ppl out there who feel the same and they used this to heal their hearts.. |

I love this song :] I fell in love with it when i heard it and couldn't stop listening to it like all the other songs of Green Day's songs :D now obviously the songs got to do with realizing that lifes not all about possessions, but i think its saying that all's he really wants out of life to to live a nice life and that he makes it to heaven- "cause im thinking about the only road, the one i've never known and where it goes".. too me thats saying that he's wanting to learn the "road" that he has to take to get into heaven and find out where it's gonna lead him :] |
