I hear "you shook me to the core" as well. This is one of my favorite songs of all time. Love is sticky, messy, and sweet like honey---I totally get that line in this song. I've been through some rough times in relationships and that line always gave me comfort in a strange sort of way, telling me to hold on and just let love happen. *shrug* I wonder if anyone else interpreted that way. |
