I really like your interpretation too. Though I'm not american and I'm no expert in domestic politics in the US, I feel that this applys all over the world. Disparity is nowdays created by people who don't really have an understanding about the lives and problems of "regular people".
Anyways, one of the best songs in the album which is btw much better than its predecessor :) |

Isn't this about America's youth not voting in the '04 presidential election...? Just 17% of 18 to 25 year-olds put their votes in... And correct me if wrong but I get the feeling that Suicide Machines think that if the youth would've voted then W wouldn't have gotten re-elected. I really don't know if that's a common opinion in the States... |

This song is about euthanasia, period. I'll have to say that thinking this song being about drugs (for instance) is quite naive. |

I'd say both aspects offered here are somewhat correct. I think this is a love song about a guy missing a girl and their relationship. But at the same time the girl seems to be someway destroying herself and everything around her (drugs?) and the guy loves the girl so much that he wants "save her" and their relationship. |
