Tuomas is the storyteller-he started Nightwish.Tarja is the 'Queen of the night'-you can tell by the 'voice of angels' part. 'Patriotic to the promised land of Neverwaking Dream':refers to Tuomas' love of fantasy 'Simply the best - way to walk this life Hand in hand with a dreamers`mind'-is saying that the band's way of life is a good one. 'Enter the realm, don`t stay awake The dreams remain, theyonly break Forget the task, enjoy the ride And follow us into the night'-Tells you to listen and enjoy the music and follow the band on their journey. The 'merry minstrel' is Emppu and the 'warrior' is Jukka. 'Come to the elfland the eldest said,In my guidance you shall not be afraid, I am the mastermind, the wizard to show the way':references Tuomas-the oldest bandmember at the time-who writes the lyrics(guidance/mastermind). 'First ones to guard this path of night- Lady in black, Lady in white Followed by legions of night-time wanderers'-They are leaders of their genre.'Night-time wanderers' refers to the fans. am not sure about the Lady in black, Lady in white part though. 'Guardians of the halls of heart When we from our homeland depart':-This refers to leaving Finland on their first overseas tour. 'To challenge the gods of emptiness May the quest begin'-Beginning their journey to overtake all the musicians who lack depth or substance,as well as gaining immortality through their music. |
