| I did. I thought it was a beautiful song, truly. When I first heard the song, and that it was going to be the theme song I was somewhat disappointed. After all, a "modern"-styled song in a Final Fantasy game? What's that about. But playing this wonderful and spectacular game, with such strong characters and powerful emotions... It was truly an amazing game. And then at that beautiful cutscene, this song plays, and it's just perfect--looking at it now, I really cannot think of a better song, or wanting a more "traditional" FF song. I know I'm rambling, but that just shows anyone who bothers to read this how much this game touched me. I've always been a huge FF fan, and this is by far my favorite one. It's so realistic--as a sibling, I can attest to this. Anyone who has a sibling should know how we get upset at each other over such petty and trivial matters, but I know I'd go to the ends of the Earth to protect my brother and sister. That's what this song means to me--the beauty of interpretation. This story and song are going to stay in my heart. Instant classic. | |
