I think this song is more sexual than that rest, and I don't usually think about things in this way. It sounds to me she wanted her man, he said he had to go to bed, the pirates are the women that could be creeping. Maybe it's about a man that is a player or someone that she cares about enough to care, or worrying about other women seeing him in this kind of light and going for it. Those kind of women would be pirates to me....... |

this song to me is about someone in pain, the purple paint thing is exaggerated so much though. people who work in jobs that require physical labor usual don't have high educations, and their hands do look like someone painted them purple. People don't expect their lives to end up this way... they might feel the pain and thought more would happen, it didn't and so the drink the sorrow away. |
