| This lyrical writing style is so cool. It seems to me that it could be told as a regular ghost story without music. In fact, leave it to Doug Bradley and it would be one badass ghost story. Leave it to Dani to come up with amazing lyrics for an amazingly creepy subject. To me, the song tells a small part of the bio of Elizabeth Bathory. I've read plenty of comments on here, regarding the bathing in blood controversy. The truth is, no one REALLY knows for sure if she bathed in it. Its only a rumour. But we do know from one of her accomplices' that she hung her victims above and slit them up to shower in the blood. Though, her accomplices only told the court this under threat of torture, so it could be the real story, or just a lie to get out of being tortured. I did a report on her in school, I used bios written about here at my school, plus wikipedia, but most of my stuff was based off of the books. My class was a little freaked out, but they didn't say it had to be school appropriate...:) | |
