I agree with durdenisms, Brians lyrical abilities ARE slipping, (breaks my heart), BUT this song just makes me want to "run, run, run, run, run, run". It makes me happy and if I'm alive when it IS the end of the world I'll play this song as I do exactly that and 'run, run, run, run, run, run for our lives"

I really hate the fact that I was born in 1995, not 1985 or something like that so I could have grown up with EARLY Placebo, you know, where Brian and Stephan made-out on stage and Bri was a VERY big Lady-Man. As much as I love their new stuff, their old albums/ demos are WAY better, with more meaning and beautiful lyrics that make you cry. I'm scared that Brian is losing his song-writing abilities. ): I also can't stand the fact that people at school claim to like Placebo when they only know one song or think that BFTS is their first album, I just walk away without even bothering to correct them.

Okay, sometime last year some idiotic people used this song as weather-music, you know, instead of some shitty mainstream crap. I don't know why but it REALLY pissed me off, a lot. I really think that when a song begins with "you are one of god's mistakes" it would be kinda obvious it's not suitible music for channel 7 weather. |
