Two errors, it's 'I can't think of THERE without thinking of you', and at the end it's 'WILL I HAVE found a better method of pretending you were just some lover?' Amazing song, probably only second to Black Treacle on the new album lyrically. |

I don't think that it's about him wanting his dream to come true. I think they've broken up, but he's dreaming and reminiscing about their best times, and never wanting the dream to end. I think they're still in love, but it just didn't work out. As for the Georgia thing, maybe the girl lives in Georgia, and he can't go back there because it's too painful? |

Basically, in my opinion, it's about one person having feelings for another with the other one either not returning them, or having them at some stage but then losing them. The first verse sounds like he wants to go back to a time when everything was perfect with them. "Could you always be the one who says goodnight" is fairly obvious, him wanting her to be the last person he sees at night and the first person he sees in the morning.. As for the video, that basically looks like she thought that they were perfect for each other and that something could happen, but he never saw her that way. |
