Actually from what I've read the song was supposed to be about drug trafficking. This was to be shown in the video where a mother carries a child into a foreign country only to find out that the baby is dead and filled with heroin. Geffen rejected this idea though.
This would explain the "where do we go" line. |

If you ask me it's about if Axl was out only for sex and she told him he was crazy.
Hence the line: "When I was younger I knew someone like you and SHE said: "You don't want my love...."" (This is in the lyrics sheet from the album of G N' R Lies. |

From what I understand from what I've read; Axl wrote this song from the point of view of a racist person to address and bring attention to the issues with racism and homophobia. He himself however is not racist |
