Technically speaking, he is not a rapist. Statutory rape just means you had consensual sex with an underage person. Like it or not, a lot of bands sleep with groupies and most groupies are underage. I believe he has had sex with underage people before, but I'd believe it of almost any band. I'm not condoning what he's doing by any means, but I feel it's unfair to focus on him alone when 1. lots of other bands do it too and 2. in a lot of cases, you can't tell by looking how old someone is; I'm almost 18 and look about 14, and I know 13-year-olds who look 20. One last point: Dahvie vanity is NOT a "pedophile." He is an ephebophile, someone who is attracted to late teenagers. A "pedophile" by definition is someone who is attracted to prepubescent children, which Dahvie clearly is not. |

If you listen to this right after you listen to "Sugar, We're Goin Down," it tells a story. Basically, a guy sleeps with a girl and finds out he's gay afterward and even though the girl knows he used her to find out for sure, she still loves him and pines for him, but he regrets it. "Sugar, We're Goin Down" is fromn the girl's point of view and this is from the guy's. |

The first time I heard this song (about 6 months after it came out, like April 09 or so) I thought he was saying, "I know you've heard this all before but we're just Hell' s GLAMBERTS" because even then I understood it was about people getting ridiculously obsessed with celebrities and thinking of them like gods or something, when really they're just like you and me. "I'm in love with my own sins" is the person admitting it's unhealthy to harbor such an obsession. |

this reminds me of "Thnks fr th Mmrs" because every time I see it on someones my space, youtube etc, the person spells it wrong. They've either only heard it sung and write it out, or remember barely that it's shortened but not how so they misspell it some retarded way. |

This song seems like it might be about a boy during the Holocaust who falls in love with the girl who's hiding him, but she has someone else. "Don't mind me, I'm watching you two from the closet" could mean he literally sees her from his hiding place, or that he's hiding somewhere else but knows she's with her boyfriend. "A loaded God complex, cock it and pull it" seems to suggest killing for religious or moral reasons. "I've been dying to tell you anything you want to hear, 'cause that's just who I am this week," the girl is willing to lie and claim he's not there so police don't bother her and put him in danger. "Lie in the grass, next to the mausoleum," is a reference to danger and the possibility of death. |

I remember when this song first came out it used to piss me off. Because everyone who had it on they're Myspace youtube etc. would spell it wrong. You could all ways tell, they'd either only heard it sung and would write it out ("Thanks for the Memories") or they'd seen it written once or twice and would remember it was shortened but not how it was shortened so they'd mispell it some stupid way ("Thx 4 tha Mmrs," "Tnks fr th Mmrs" etc.). |

I think it's hilarious how people keep commenting like this is some deep song. It's not, it's a stupid nonsense ditty Pete Wentz wrote when he was on drugs. The video is retarded, Fallout Boys videos were always some creepy fucked story that had nothing to do with the song. Like the girl loves some kid with antlers and her dad ends up having hooves? when they sing this in concert they don't actually say "whore" he just kind of stops and lets the audience say it...and when when it was big alot of indy bands (like Citizen Veins) covered it, but they just said "The poor grooms bride is a - " then theyed just sort of gasp and cover their mouths, It's more for a comic relief thing coz its such an angry song, i mean if you're wife cheated on you youd be mad to! |
