Personally, I think the term 'dirty' does not apply to 'sleazy', but more that she plays dirty: 'I said but unlock the door 'Cause I forgot the key She said he's not coming back Because he's sleeping with me' An obvious ploy to get his girlfriend worked up so she could have him all to herself. Also, when I listen to this song, I kind of think of Diana Vickers (nothing personal, it's really just the sound of the name) |

| This is such a powerful, meaningful song; like she's fallen in love with someone and everyone's telling her it's too soon - but she knows better. Or maybe it's him telling her to go slow, but she won't listen. She might want to reconsider that. | |

This is such a sad song, because this boy has obviously ripped her heart out and now she's just trying to express herself through her music. The boy's clearly a prat but she was in love with him, so what are you going to do? Also, she has made the melody sound happy so unless you're listening to the lyrics, you wouldn't even know she is singing about something painful. |
