i was so in love with this song, mainly because it's very descriptive like you can just taste how well their night went - kinda reminds me of this guy.. anywho i can't help but imagine that this song has something to do with car sex (maybe while it was raining?).. i'm not trying to be dirty btw - Your legs are smooth as they graze mine. We're doing fine, we're doing nothing at all.. and the whole second verse sorta implies sex.. - and then the last verse before the end of the song (the sound of the stereo, etc) made me think they were in a car - 'streets were wet' made me think it just stopped raining and for some reason they felt like walking the rest of the way |

| the way i see it, she broke up with him because of her personal issues and insecurities: i'm a victim of another's war (like her own wars within herself).. and the chorus speaks about how she thinks she's not good enough (i get so burned when you get close to me).. basically she's been trying to drown her insecurity but it eventually caught up to her (the words you said to me come ringing in your silent symphony).. sad part is the guy hates her because he doesn't know about it.. | |
