Tame Impala – Solitude Is Bliss Lyrics 15 years ago
I'm not sure, but I hear
"I care less and less about and less about you."
The song's about not really caring anymore, so I feel like it could be a possibility.

I think it's
"I care less and less about you"
He has a slight dialect, so that word is cut short.

I agree with this interpretation as well! I was so focused on the love part that I forgot to address the imagery of leaving.

Here's what I think. It's a song about people doing what they're not supposed to!

Activity isn't supposed to kill an actor, inactivity will.
Cops aren't supposed to turn away traffic, they're supposed to direct it.

Life is about relating to people, not closing the world off.

Tegan and Sara – Feel It in My Bones Lyrics 15 years ago
My interpretation of this song has a lot to do with my personal experience. I think it fits beautifully.

This is by no means a sad song!

The narrator of this song is taken aback by someone. They didn't expect this person to show up in their life (blow by blow I didn't see it coming), but he or she feels it in his or her bones that the other person is there to stay. It is completely based on intuition and not intellect or fact. (I feel it in my bones.)

The narrator also feels that the other person feels the same. (You're slow to letting me go.)

Apparently, they are on a break right now. Maybe the connection was a bit scary as it was unexpected, especially for the other person. (Run away. Rushes out. You always run away.)

As far as the following lyrics go:

(I take a breath, take a breath with me blow by blow) = "Let's take it slow! I'm afraid too!"

(I take a break, take a break, tell me you are here to stay) = "We take breaks, but I'm still here to stay. Please tell me you are too, to save me from feeling insane."

(I take my heart out of my chest, I just don’t need it anymore) = Possibly: "I don't need my heart anymore, I know what I feel"

(Take my head out of the game, I just don’t need it anymore) = "I'm not playing 'the game' anymore. You're the one."

Let me know what you think!
