I agree with everybody and thought I'd put my intake in. The day my boyfriend and I broke up, I was driving home from school, (I had to leave, because seeing him with another girl was killing me) I heard this song and had to pull over, I was crying so bad. This song is so deep and haunting I love it. I agree with everyone, thought I think it could possibly also be about a breakup? Tell me what you think? |

I absolutely love this song. Miranda's voice is almost angelic the way she shows the heartbreak in a song. I agree with everyone, though I do have my own thoughts on it. I get that she wants to go back home to all the memories, and the good times. But why? I think because maybe, she's taken her new life a little for granted. Maybe she feels that she needs a reality check and she knew that seeing everything from her past would help that. Remind her who she is and where she came from. What do you think? |

I cry. Everytime I hear this song. It reminds me of my... friend. I guess you could call him. We had a thing at the begining of the year, and he helped me a lot with everything. And I feel that I'm not good enough for him, that I couldn't BE enough for him... even when I gave him my all. So I put space between us. My best friend, who I love... and I pushed him away. I should have never did that.. because today, our relationship is not what it used to be - at all. But regardless, I love this song. :) |

Thank you for posting this. I, myself am a fourteen year old girl. When I first heard this song - I cried. I'll admit it. And hearing it come from a soldier their self, I thank you, because I had mixed feelings. I mean, I loved the song, but the meaning and how fast someone can change to hero to criminal.. that got me confused. I know that in the war, things change in a split second. My mother's ex husband is in the war, and I worry about him like crazy, still. But back to my point, I just want to thank you for posting this because you gave us a soldier's point of view on this amazing song, and I think a lot of us needed that. -BrookeNichole |

I cry every time I hear this song, because I was with this guy and it seemed like he cared and everything but in reality, he didn't. And now all his friends know about me. - the mess of a dreamer, with the nerve to adore him - . So, bottom line - amazing song. |

Very Relatiable. I love it. I think its about a girl who is 'at war' with herself, with thinking that 'Ms.Perfect' is so much better than her. But in all reality, she's better than her. (Ms.Perfect) But, that's just my opinion. |

To me, this song is about a girl who is in love with a boy, and he knows that. He uses that against her for when he pulls the rug out from under her - again. And she's done. This song can relate to me because I have a guy friend who I am madly in love with, and he knows it - and he uses it to his advantage. He knows I'll always be there whenever he 'wants' me.
