depending on how you look at the song, it could be interpreted as a sort of gospel-esque song, with the mention of god, but it could also be interpreted in a different light, away from the religious aspects. for many people. The use of "god" is understandable, from a rhetorical view, being a word which has become synonymous with the omnipotent or otherworldly, but it could be interpreted as what made this person stop want to stop in the middle of committing. It could be a Girl/boyfriend, friend, or family either way, it's a really powerful song, and I love the Fray ^^ |

This song is one of the most touching songs of the whole Anime, kind of tying it together. -- The way I figured this song, it was about a relationship that lost it's luster and was coming to an end. He was a fool because he couldn't get himself to let go even though he knew it wouldn't work out. It could also be seen as him falling out of love with a girl, only to fall in love with his best friend who was always there for him. In this way, the old love affair could be the girl that he was with. |

I really love this song. I can't believe that I"m already close to graduating... I really wanted this to be our graduation son, but alas, it wasn't meant to be... anyway, it sounds like he's going through the trials and tribulations of both an abusive home and even the schools that they're going to. The chourus is like their way of saying that they let bygones be bygones... the camraderie's old, doing what I'm told, and everybody knows that this is getting out of hand... the whole song has a tone of finality to it... like this is the last time that you'll be going through some of it... |

This is a truly beautiful song... I feel that it talks about how there is a man who is trying to convinve the one that he loves that she is making the right choice, no matter how painful it may be... Even when the decisions that she made have taken her down the wrong path and further away from him, he continues to encourage her to follow her heart, in hopes that it will lead her back to him... Once again, this is a beautiful song, and it choked me up the first time I heard it... |
