What are "gizers"? Is this a typo? I don't think it's "geysers" (which it rhymes with) since that's pronounced with a hard G. |

The Decemberists – California One/Youth and Beauty Brigade Lyrics

Some of the lyrics are wrong; I submitted corrections but they haven't been changed yet. Anyway the second verse actually starts out, according to the lyric booklet "take a long DRAM with me" (instead of "drown") a dram being a measurement of liquor. Also it's "Multnomah County library". Multnomah County is the county that Portland, OR (where the Decemberists are from) is in (as an Oregonian I should know this :p ). |

Bettie Serveert – Healthy Sick Lyrics

@foreverdrone I looked up the lyrics myself on their official site (bettieserveert.com) and it unfortunately stops where it does on this site. But I don't think the words are "curtain lake". English is actually the singer/lyricist Carol van Dyk's first language; she was born in Vancouver, Canada and lived there until she was seven I think. Now I'm gonna have to listen to that song to try and remember/figure out the lyrics to the last part. :p |
