| Soundgarden – Outshined Lyrics | 10 years ago |
| This song is definitely about being on a hangover of some sort. | |

| If it is about drugs... And I kinda think it is.... it's definitely meth | |

It is definitely about drugs. Meth and cocaine probably. Watch the guy speeding on the video. |

| The Libertines – Don't Look Back Into The Sun Lyrics | 14 years ago |
|
People always go on and on about "oh is such a shame that he got into drugs" Thing is if wasn't for the drugs, his creativity and deepness wouldn't be like it is. Got accept it. People don't get addicted for no reason. As much as drugs make you feel good when you're high, they make you feel bad when you come down - which is perfect for intensifying emotions and creating sincere lyrics. |

Sure these lyrics are correct? In some other sites its like: "When the road is called up yonder" instead of "When the roll is called up yonder" "You're the rose that was called from yonder" instead of "So the road it was carved from nothing" |

| The Libertines – The Man Who Would Be King Lyrics | 15 years ago |

Its obviously the second part of Tell The King... which is about the complicated relation they have. In Tell The King Carl says "didn't they explain? you have to play the game..." Here Pete answers: "I've been told if you want to make it in this game You got to have the luck You got to have the look" And when Carls says I lived my dream today I lived it yesterday And I'll be living yours tomorrow Its like him telling Pete that his self-destructive ways wont allow him to live his dreams on the future, and Carls will be left alone. |

Best conclusion i`ve read. Amazes me the fact that they can be so open about their onw relations problems on a song... |
