when i heard the song before i got the album i thought it was abraxas, and was wondering who abraxas was. Then I saw brass fist and i knew it didn't sound right. Anyways i came on hear to see if anyone knew who abraxas was. Any idea? |

I like the song. I would say it's comparing a girl or relationship to pill addiction. I would go with pills, i'm guessing painkillers, oxycodone, over heroin because of the cover of the album. Also...how many times have Dan and Matt tied lyrics or song titles to pills. 'Washed it down the drain, with 1 silver bullet and 2 vicodin.' 'Take...with lots of alcohol.' Like the pills in your hand, I'll never let you down,' and so on. Methadone is used to treat addictions to pain killers. Especially oxycodone. I like the song. At first it really sounds a lot like 'My friend Peter.' |
