its just a song of a guy being stupid... and not realizing what he has until its gone now she has a boyfriend and is trying to forget about him now hes complicating things. "When the lights don't glow the same way that they used to, & I finally get a moment to myself will realize you were everything I wanted & you'll tell me you're in love with someone else" the lights are not as bright and hes not blinded anymore he gets to sit down when the lights are off he waited too long and the girl has moved on he has hope that she still loves him. its a wonderful song im sure everyone has had a situation like this that can relate... it just reminds me -_- |

i think this song is about the relationship going in the deep end ... "It seems like everything I do you're used to it" i think hes saying, hes done things in the past that has led her to not care anymore "Feels like I'm in crazy competition with the past" leading her to look to other men to make her feel good about himself leaving him to care now that she no longer cares 7 i do see others points where they say that it is of her speaking of ex's & being second best.. "is anything im doing brand new" saying is there anything he can do that they have not done... |

i see both views but i also wanted to touch apon this part of the song... "Carry you inside get you some water and undress you I give you my all, and the next morning you'll forget: Who, or Why, or How, or When" I believe he is emplying that he shows up to take care of her she obviously made a drunk call... (assumption made by her getting "****ed up") he'll carry her inside and help her... undress her and give her his all meaning sex... and her being so "****ed up" she'll forget who came to "help" "Tonight is probably'about to happen all over again Cuz she live in a mindset that I could never move to Until you find yourself, its impossible to lose you Uh..because I never had you... Although I would be glad to.. I probably go and tattoo..your name on my heart," he is saying it will probably happen to her with someone else not allowing himself to become attached to her, because the "1's in the air will get her out of houstin atlanta vagas" this being the mindset that he could not live with... why he can not become attached.
