okay, so i've just now created an account because i had to comment on this song. great ideas guys, but i thought of something different. so this is what it means to me: HE IS SINGING TO A GIRL!(yayy) and it's not so mean. he loves her, he is telling her what to do "do this thing, this type of thing put a little money in this type of thing" (maybe a little controlling) but he might just be looking out for her best interest and maybe that's because he always see's that she is getting in trouble, being so negative, not living up to the wonderful quota he wants her to meet. if she does this, if she does that, then HE'S GOT NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT (such great chorus) "there must be something in you turning boys to men and then back again" she plays with his emotions, she is trouble. they probably argue and fight, and he is blaming her for making him act like an immautre boy, then feel good about himself like is some MAN. "beat me up at least you won't be out of touch if you're such a poet, use your tongue and show it" he is teasing her. so they might not have the healthiest relationship. at least there is passion! but there is so much more i got out of it. i just can relate. |
