^^ Hahaha, what?? You serious about that? Honestly that seems silly to me for Isbells lyrics. Not to get all nerd on you but what oxy contin are blue? The only oxy's that were blue were the 160mg but they stopped production of those over 10 years ago.. and I doubt he is reffering to some shitty generic brand like Tevo.. of course roxi 30mg are blue.. but c'mon.. Isbell is so poetic I can't imagine that is what he is saying

This song is clearly about a preacher who is cheating on his wife and eventually hires some guys to kill his wife so he can marry and be with the mistress. Pattersons lyrics here are just freaking amazing. This whole album is killer. |
