i think your right actually at first i thought it was about how nobody cares to notice the world burning in front of them as you see in the music video but if you about 50 seconds into the video a lady walks by a window that has the pink floyd wish you were here album cover in the reflection and that song was about syd barret who sort of went crazy because of lsd and how the band members miss him after they kicked him out of the band much like how daron probably misses his brother |

this is just an idea and i dont know if its right but if u watch the music video it shows people walking in the city and there are large fires burning all around but nobody cares to notice. i think its about how the world is burning right in front of our eyes and we dont even care to notice it |
