Everytime I try to put the meaning in more simplistic wordsthe more i fail to do so. The song is about how complacent we as a people have become, so prepared to attack(both figurative and literal) anyone that appears/acts differently. In a single sentence he's saying/asking why the hell did social interaction take precedence over paying attention to the world, and how these new teens act like they have no control over their future when they ultimatly end up inherenting the future. Change comes from inside. After all that's what this country was founded on Do nothing different just fall in line: Over the 200+ years we've called ourselves the United States we simply stopped trying to change things for the better and let other people/groups lead us into ruin. By the way for my own sanity, would you damn kids stop relating every song to a relationship? (i could make a song about being a sadist's relationship with his knife but would you want to hear that?)... ok ranting over What does pc mean? "the song is just a general description of how pc everything is." I'm getting old now and i'm only 20.... |
