Seems like the lyrics are describing a case of unrequited love. You really fall for a girl who understands you, with whom you feel you can be yourself. Shes not around all the time but when you see her it all comes flooding back. Shes with someone else and the thought of seeing them together makes you sick. The song also describes to desperate attempt to make her "see" you, and not wanting to give up. You feel that both of you are fully compatible so if she left her current partner for you, you would feel as if you were saving her, hence the line "And I can't save you if you don't let me". Good song overall. |
