Just been listening this off the Oh By The Way disc set and I'm sure it's not Jenifer in line "Jenifer Gentle, you're a witch" written above. I hear it as "Ginger Gentle, you're a witch" or Ginger Ginger, you're a witch". There's definitely a sharper syllable where 'f' is that sounds more like a 'g'. Also it fits better as his domestic cat was a ginger cat. After a bit of searching, it seem other lyric sites think the same, but almost all of the websites with the work lyrics in the hostname seems to copy from each other or are the same source site with different ads and layout. When you get to some more specialised sites like Guitar Chords,sheet music etc. I'd trust them a bit more. Possible undertones of schizophrenia or double vision, "You're the left side, He's the right side". Did he have two cats or just see two cats through crazy LSD eyes ??? Or maybe it's just the common use of Lucifer as Satan ... his evil, mischievous cat. |

Lott79, this is most plausible as it's from the soundtrack to the film More. A French film by Iranian producer Barbet Schroeder about the making of a heroin addict. The main character, Stefan, fresh from college, hitches from Germany to Paris, meets an American girl and they heads off to Ibiza, gets hooked on dope etc. in the hippie lifestyle and so on. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0064694/ That probably why there's a track Ibiza Bar too! The film, is also about sexual freedom and mind alteration (possibly by drug use) ... typical of the late 60's and early '70's and even up to today I guess.
